The new 2010  British Rallycross championship kicked off with the first round being run by LHMC at Lydden Hill , Kent. 
This was the first run for Mike with his new Millington Diamond Series 2.5 Cosworth engine ... and boy did it do the business!!
Lydden was not only round 1 of the MSA British Rallycross Championship but also a Belgium round which provide an action packed day with Mike finishing 3rd in the Supermodified Class and made 4th overall in the Superfinal.
Round 2 Knockhill, Scotland.
A cold and wet day at the Scottish Race track also yielded more points and another trophy for Mike in the British rounds.  After a slippery supermodifed final Mike lead up untill the last lap when Julien Godfrey in his Fiesta squeezed his way through.  So Mike had 2nd place  - but both of them qualified for the Supercar final run in torrential rain with Mike finishing in 6th place.
Round 3 Blyton  -  Night race.......  first Rallycross British Round to be held in the dead of night when the finals were run between 11.30pm and 12.30am under floodlights.  Mike had a great supermodified final and finished in 2nd place qualifing him for the superfinal where he finished 8th.
Round 4 Massmachelen,  Belgium.   Superb result in temperatures topping 40 degrees.  Mike finished 3rd in the supermodified final    -   his finishing time putting him through yet again to the super final with the 4 wheel drives.  Following Binks, Doran and Godfrey Mike was in 4th place.  Suddenly Godfrey blew his engine and Mike found himself in 3rd spot !!
FANTASTIC  ....  his first top three finish in a Super Final !
